Terms, Rates and Fees
This credit card offers an introductory 0% annual percentage rate (APR) for the first 21 billing cycles after opening an account. After that, the APR switches to a variable rate ranging from 18.74% to 29.74%, depending on creditworthiness. There is no penalty APR.
The U.S. Bank Visa Platinum Card does not have an annual fee.

Here’s how to apply for the U.S. Bank’s Visa Platinum Card:
- Go to the bank's main website and select “Personal” and “Credit Cards.” Then, select “View Credit Cards.”
- Scroll down until you find the U.S. Bank Visa Platinum Card. You can choose “Learn More” for card details or “Apply Now” to start the online application.
- In the application, you must provide your SSN or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number and a valid mobile number. Select “I’ll enter my own info” to continue with the application.
- The application is separated into several pages but only takes a few minutes to complete.
