Elite Home Warranty Review
Overview
Elite Home Warranty promises to deliver “above and beyond” in terms of warranty customization, service speed, claims concierge, and transparency. The New York-based brand was founded in 2020 and came into the limelight by being the only home warranty brand to service older systems and appliances.
They claim to be the most transparent home warranty service provider in America. Though the company is new, we found plenty of praise for the brand’s transparency in doing business. Their services can be a bit pricey, but online service reviews justify their quotes. The brand currently provides warranty services across 43 states. Let the scrutiny begin.

Plans and Pricing
Home Warranty provides three service plans; Elite Systems, Elite Appliances, and Elite Complete. You can also add additional items to your plan for an extra premium.
Elite Appliances: You can get a warranty for eight appliances; refrigerator (including ice and water dispenser), washing machine, clothes dryer, cooktop, dishwasher, garbage disposal, and ceiling fans with this plan.
Elite Systems: This plan covers seven systems like air conditioning, heating systems, electrical systems, plumbing system, water heaters, and garage door openers. You can use only one system per plan. You need to pay an additional premium if you have more than one system.
Elite Complete: If you are planning to go with both Elite Systems and Elite Appliances, you can get a better price with the Elite Complete package that includes all seven systems and eight appliances, along with a few additional items.
Elite Home Warranty does not disclose the plan prices on its official website. This is a downer for a brand that values transparency. The exact price depends on where you live, the plan type, the property size, and the overage warranty coverage you select. You can get a quote by calling them at (888) 354-8398 or submitting a call request on their official website. Home packages start at $499 annually.
Customize Your Own: You can customize your order and only pay for select appliances and systems. This can be a great way to try out their services without a hefty commitment. Fully customized plans start at $79 annually.
Elite’s customized services cost more on average, but you can skip appliances and systems that are less likely to break down and pay a premium for just one appliance or system. The premium will depend on the item, but it can save you hassle in repairing old appliances and systems. Elite is also the first company to provide warranty services for older items.
Service Fees
You can choose the service fees you pay per visit when purchasing the premium. The premium depends on the service fee slab you choose. There are four fixed service fee slabs; $0, $70, $100, and $130. You will need to pay some extra premium for lower service slabs. If you feel you might need a regular repair on your appliances and systems, Elite gives you a way to lower the service charges with this feature. You may be charged an additional $150 service charge for high-grade appliances.
Payout Caps
All appliances and systems have payout caps that you can increase by paying extra even anytime during the warranty period. Most common appliances and systems have a maximum payout cap of $2000. You can see the payout caps on customized items in the Coverage Agreement. The aggregate cap is $15,000 per service period. You can increase the aggregate cap by paying an additional premium. There are no limits to the number of claims. You can increase caps on covered items even after the agreement.

Claims & Repairs
You can file a claim online or by telephone. You can log into the website or call (888) 354-8398 to submit an online claim. The process is simple and fast. You must select the appliance/system from your warranty list and book a convenient date for a technician visit. You may choose your technician for the job, but you won’t get a workman guarantee.
Elite provides a workmen warranty on every repair job done by its trusted technicians. If the product breaks down again within 90 days of repair, you can get a free repair done by reopening the claim. However, if you use your technician or any technician outside the Elite trusted network, you need to pay the service fees again. Elite provides fast-track services for emergency repair or time-sensitive items.
If an item cannot be repaired, you can receive either cash reimbursement or item replacement. Cash reimbursement is faster than replacement. You may not get the exact color or model in some cases.
Customer Service
Elite provides 24*7*365 customer service. It is one of the most praised brands regarding customer service and responsiveness. Customers can call (888) 354-8398 for claims, complaints, and feedback. We hope for a separate line for emergency repair services and the availability of live chat on its website.
Final Thoughts
Elite Home Warranty provides many genuine advantages to consumers. You can customize your items, service fees, and payout cap according to your needs. You can find a wide range of items, including electric/plumbing systems, service line repairs, electronics, and pool/spa equipment. Elite has a responsive customer support team that is alive 24*7. With more than 10,000 in-network technicians, you can expect repair service within 48 hours in most states. Though the brand is new, there is honest support from its growing customer base in online forums. We found no complaints against the brand in online forums and complaint websites. Maybe, it really does something different.
