Premier Platinum Plan: Same as Premier Plan plus HVAC systems and washer/dryer coverage
Add-on coverage for individual systems or appliances also available.
Both of the main plan options with First Premier Home Warranties come with coverage for a combination of systems and appliances.
Like many home warranty companies, First Premier doesn’t publish its rates on the website. You’ll need to submit your zipcode and request a quote to find out exactly how much you’d owe with either plan.
To give you an idea of what you may expect, however, some reviewers note that the Premier Plan is $43 per month. The premier Platinum Plan costs $50 per month.
If you choose to pay annually, the Premier Plan’s price drops to $30.75 per month. The Premier Platinum Plan drops to $34.91 per month.
Including an extra system or appliance with your package of choice adds between $25 and $150 to your annual plan costs.
Be sure to get a quote from the company based on your location and individual needs before deciding about whether to move forward with a First Premier Home Warranty.
Service Fees
Service fees start at $45 per incident though may be higher, depending on the type of service needed. There is no option to choose a flat service fee. If First Premier decides your problem constitutes an emergency, they will attempt to get a service tech to your home faster, but they don’t guarantee emergency service outside of regular business hours.
If you choose to seek service on your own without getting approval from First Premier first, your repair will not be covered.
Payout Caps
There aren’t any payout caps listed on the First Premier website, but it’s smart to ask the question about your plan if you decide to move forward with getting a quote.
The First Premier website doesn’t state that a home inspection is necessary to get a home warranty through the company.

Claims & Repairs
First Premier Home Warranty’s website has a “Request Service” tab that leads directly to a contact page listing the company’s toll-free number and their email address. There is an online form requesting the customer’s name, phone number, email address, state, and message, as well.
The website does not offer any details about the claims process, how many contractors are available in various areas, and how quickly a customer could expect to get help with a malfunctioning system or appliance.

Final Thoughts
While it’s a new company, First Premier Home Warranty seems to have good coverage available for a long list of commonly insured home systems and appliances. The website doesn’t offer a lot of details about how to make a claim or how much each service call may costs.
If you decide to move forward with getting a quote, be sure to ask questions about how to make a claim, how to use the technician of your choice, payout caps, and emergency services.
There’s a lot of competition in the home warranty arena, so if you are in the market for this type of coverage, take your time comparison shopping.
